I’m Kateřina. I studied psychology, briefly wandered into IT, and
eventually found my way to UX, which in hindsight makes quite a lot
of sense. It brings together almost everything I enjoy: digital
products, research, people, and creative work. I worked on my first
UX project while studying, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
What I enjoy most is joining a project when there are still plenty
of unknowns and gradually making sense of them. Asking questions,
connecting the dots, and figuring out which problem is actually
worth solving. I like simple solutions to complex problems, while
keeping user needs, business goals, and the realities of development
in view.
I get the most satisfaction from creating things that make sense and
can genuinely be useful to someone. In the future, I’d like to
connect design even more closely with my psychology background,
whether through mHealth apps, digital interventions, or other
products where psychology and technology naturally meet.
And when I’m not working, you’ll probably find me at the cinema, an
exhibition, a concert, or somewhere outdoors. I read, play video
games, spend time with friends, and beat people at rummy.
